Kristen M. Dalton

Kristen Marie (Johnson) Dalton passed away on April 25, 2026 at the age of 71 after a long battle with cancer in Greeneville, Tennessee. Her courageous spirit stood out as one of her parting gifts to her husband, David and her family.

Kristi Dalton was an accomplished woman having been an administrative staff at Tusculum University Financial Aid where she retired and then later worked at Brookdale Assisted Living Center. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College returning to college after raising her children.

David and Kristi are members of First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville.

Kristi leaves her husband, David Dalton; her children, Patrick and Melissa; and grandchildren, Brieanna and Sylar.

David was her anchor and advocate through her illness and loved her deeply. Her sisters, Karen Johnson and Sheryl Johnson, and brother, Dale Johnson, grieve her loss and offered support to David and family through these challenges.

Her joyful approach to life, her humor and her faith are lasting memories of her.
