When his health permitted, he was an avid fox hunter and won many trophies. His friends knew him as “Mosheim Fox Hunter.” He was a former employee of Formex.
He was a faithful member of Brown Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years: Evelyn Walker Willett; daughter and son-in-law: Amanda and Allen Bradley of Mosheim; special granddaughter: Deidre Michelle Landers of Mosheim; sister-in-law: Betty McCamey Willett of Mosheim; niece: Julie Willett Oakes; a nephew: Johnny Willett Jr. of Greeneville; and special friends: Carol Potter, Jerry Shipley, and Kathy Lutz.
He was preceded in death by his father: Ambrose Willett; mother: Maggie Lee Bible Willett; daughter: Rose Ann Willett Landers; son: Terry Dwane Willett; brother: Johnny Willett; and brother-in-law: Charles Walker.
The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Springs Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held at the church at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. James Sauceman and Rev. Richard Long officiating.
Interment will follow in Brown Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers are the Men’s Class of Brown Springs and Big Spring Church and the staffs of Life Care Center of Greeneville and Amedisys.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
