Lois Maxine Murray

She was a babysitter and attended Cedar Hill C. P. Church as long as her health permitted. She was a lifetime member of the PTA and the women’s group of Cedar Hill C. P. Church.

She is survived by a daughter: Donna Smith (Tim) of Greeneville; grandsons: Ethan (Madelyn) Murray of Campbellsburg, KY, Billy (Taylor) Smith of Chuckey and Brandon Smith (Kinzie Miller) of Greeneville; sisters-in-law: Bonnie Harris, Joann White, Jane Murray and Jackie Murray; several nieces and nephews and a special friend and neighbor: Cindy Wills.

She was the daughter of the late James Harris and Hazel Jeffers and was preceded in death by her husband: Billy Ray Murray; son: Jeff Murray; special Niece: Kim Harris; two sisters-in-law: Genevieve (Paul) Bolton and Mildred (Luther) McCamey; two brothers-in-law: Ruble Murray and Jimmy Murray; father and mother-in law: Luther (Fannie) Murray; four brothers: Will, J. D., Worley and Donald Harris; one sister: Josephine Phillips and special cousin: Glenna Brown.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Kevin Wood will officiate.

Interment will be held at 11:00 am Friday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:15 am at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Murray, Stacy Bolton, Brian Davenport, Steve Crawford, Bart Hurlbert and Terry Laws.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Danny Campbell, Rick Taylor and the men of Cedar Hill C. P. Church.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
