Lois Brown Smith, 62, of Ted Brown Road, Chuckey, passed away Wednesday at her home.

She retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center after 38 years of service.

She is survived by her husband: Jack Smith; two children: Rick Wisecarver (Brian Hensley) and Tim (Stacy) Wisecarver; one grandson: Michael Wisecarver; one brother: Michael (Susan) Brown; one sister: Rose Ann Carpenter; mother-in-law: Evelyn Chappell; father-in-law: Mike Chappell; and several cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Norma Jean Brown, and a special aunt, Alma Brown.

The family will receive friends from 5:00- 6:00 PM Monday at Kiser- Rose Hill Funeral Home.

A memorial service will held at 6:00 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nathan Jennings officiating.
