Lora Jane Gentry Kimery

Survivors include her children: Gary Hensley and fiancé, Elva Gill, Alex Hensley and fiancé, Sylvia Wynn, all of Greeneville, John Hensley and wife, Ruth Mae, Edward Carson Kimery, and Amanda Moody, all of Chuckey, and James David Hensley and wife, Krystal, of Limestone; grandchildren: Kevin, Gabriel, Nikolia, Winter Angel, Jenniferanne, Garrett, Julia, Jayden, Angela Hensley, Bridgette Tolley-Hensley, Alexis and Tiffany Freshour, and Dylan and Dakota Sells; parents: Carson and Martha Gentry of Greeneville; stepchildren: Clyde Kimery, Tina Kimery and Micky Redding; sisters: Mary Lou Britton, Rebecca Decker and husband, Wallace, Sheila Ann Gentry Hale; brothers: Verlin Gentry and wife, Julie, James Gentry; special aunts and uncles: Jeanetta Manis, Trula Dunbar, Vernie Weems, Rayven Gentry and Junior Weems; several nieces, nephews, cousins including a special cousin, Carla Manis; and very special friends: Wylie and Lisa Hensley and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kimery; grandparents, Nelson and Elizabeth Landers, George and Flora Cutshaw Gentry; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Britton.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw and Rev. Walter Moore, Jr. officiating.

Interment will be at a later date in Mt. View Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers are Clyde Kimery, Edward Kimery, Gary Hensley, John Hensley, James Hensley, Alex Hensley, and Carson Gentry.

The family wished to express a special thanks to the staff on 5th floor at Johnson City Medical Center, the staff on Birch Wing of Life Care Center of Greeneville, and the staff of Caris Healthcare.
