Lou Ellen Southerland

She was a member of Briar Thicket Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Joyce S. and Lloyd Buckner of Bybee; granddaughters: April A. Holt and husband, Greg, and Nikki J. McCoy; stepson and special stepdaughter-in-law: Harold and Rhonda Foshie; great grandchildren: Grant L. Holt and Amber A. Holt ; a special great granddaughter, Jayce C. McCoy; step grandchildren: Robbie Foshie, Ritchie Foshie, Justin Alexander, and Amber Sissom; sisters: Frankie Dawson and Marie Southerland; niece and nephew: Dakota Crawford and Paige Rice; and a special nephew, Ryder Keedwell.

She was the daughter of the late Milburn and Fannie Southerland and was preceded in death by her special companion, Robert T. Foshie; a daughter, Bobbi R. Southerland; stepfather, Frank Gregg; brother, John R. Southerland; two infant brothers; sister, Fannie Sue Moore; and stepdaughter, Linda Jones.

The family will receive friends 1-3 and 5-7 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Arnold Webb officiating.

Interment will be at 1 pm Tuesday in Glendale Cemetery in Bybee. Family and friends are asked to meet at 12 pm Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
