Louise was a retired Nurse Aide and was the Commander of Disabled American Veteran Association #42 for many years. She attended Mt. Tabor Church as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Colyer; seven grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Author Colyer; her mother, Minnie Reynolds; two sons, Max Colyer and Darryl Colyer; and two daughters-in-law, Debra Colyer and Janice Colyer.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Rev. Mark Laughlin will officiate.
