

Madge Juanita Harmon Campbell Waddell, 85, of the Heritage Center in Morristown, formerly of Greeneville, went Home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Heritage Center in Morristown.
She was a long time employee of Magnavox and a long time private duty CNA.
She was a devout Christian beginning her walk with God at the Hill Street Church of God 55 years ago and last attending Midway United Methodist Church.
She loved her Lord, her family and gospel music. Mrs. Waddell was descended from many of the First Families of Tennessee.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Rev. Jerry L. and Tammy Campbell of Newport; grandchildren: Roger N. (Stephanie) of Whitesburg, Timothy C. (Wanda) of Johnson City, Jeffrey A. Campbell of Greeneville; step grandchildren: Curtis E. (Pam), Tim (Donna) Price, Denise (Robert) Steeleman, Rhonda (Jim) Foote; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; a sister: Ethel (William) Mitchell of Greeneville; and nephews: Joe Harmon, Kiah Trantham and Terence Mitchell.
Born November 5, 1929, in the Bales Chapel Community of Greene County, to the late George Elliot Cecil and Mollie Ethel Graham Harmon, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond D. Campbell and Doyle Bruce Waddell; two brothers, Willie E. and Elmer J. Harmon; two sisters, Gertie L. Harmon and Bonnie G. DeBusk; and a stepdaughter, Christine Waddell Price Frye.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Tan and the nurses and staff of Heritage Center, with a special appreciation to Colleen, Jane, and Dorothy.
The family will receive friends 3-6 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Campbell, Rev. Jerry Holt, and Andrew Campbell officiating.
Interment will be at 11 am Saturday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
