Mae Ivaleen Thompson

She was retired from Magnavox/Philips and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

She is survived by her husband: Ralph Thompson; son: Jason Baines; daughter: Angela Bell; son and daughter in law: David and Becky Thompson; two special grandsons: Elijah Bell and Ryan Thompson; brother and sister in law: Roger and Doris Pleasant; sister in law: Nancy Shelton; mother in law: Dorothy Thompson; father in law and his wife: Edward and Anne Thompson; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends: Max Womac, Gary Hartman and Michael Southerland; and her special dog: Scooby.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Lola Pleasant and was preceded in death by an infant brother, Roy Pleasant, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 14, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. Dewayne Gray and Rev. Ralph Dingus will officiate.

Pallbearers are Max Womac, Chris Seay, Gary Hartman, Joe Armstrong, Jim Massey, Howard Dowell, Bobby Matthews, and James Thompson. Honorary pallbearers are EC Jack Waddell, Gary Burgner, and Walter Armstrong.

The Greene County Honor Guard and the US Naval Reserve will conduct a military graveside service.
