Words cannot express how I feel about the passing of Cheryl. She was my wife, the mother of my adopted child, and my best friend for many, many years. We all shared many memories together. Times on the lake, birthdays, Thanksgiving dinners, and the like. My first date with "Sherry" was on the farm dad used to own horseback riding. I believe the horse's name was Sage. She was an accomplished rider and rode bareback. I, on the other hand, was not. She got me on Sage behind her as she galloped off and it was all I could do to keep from falling off the horse as I pleaded for her to stop! That was a great day because I knew then that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her! I loved her smile, her charm, her sense of humor, her dedication to taking care of others, especially children, and did I mention her smile? My heart aches for you all as you go through this most tragic event. I will forever have a most special place in my heart for Cheryl! Rest in Peace honey...you deserve it!!!
