She was instrumental in organizing the Greene County YMCA and she was an aerobics instructor at the YMCA and also at Doak Elementary School.
Mrs. Wright was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
Her favorite role was wife, mother, “mimi”, and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years: A.D. “Dack” Wright; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Dave and Freida Wright, Dennis “Zip” Wright, and Dale “Tootie” and Sherry Wright, all of Greeneville; and two granddaughters and spouses: Liza and Nathan Wallace of Atlanta and Leah and Nate Willis of Greeneville.
There will be no formal visitation or funeral services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
At her request, Mrs. Wright’s body will be cremated.
