Marion is survived by two daughters: Ronda Penley and Susie (Adam) Hensley; two sons: William (Carole) Dunbar and Randy (Vanessa) Dunbar; grandchildren: Brianne (T.J.) Blakely. Brock (Rachel) Dunbar, Codey (Brooke) Dunbar, Brittany (Justin) Rhodes, Travis (Anna) Hensley and Amanda (Jason) Parker; several great-grandchildren; niece: Karen Buttry; several other nieces and nephews; special friends: Renee Dunbar, Randy and Brenda Aiken, Gayle and Dallas Hughes; and a special dog: Bella.
Marion is preceded in death by his wife: Brenda Jean Dunbar; Daughter: Teresa Pearl Dunbar; parents: Willie and Pearl Dunbar; son-in-law: Doug Penley; several brothers and sisters; and a special friend: Betty Derey.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Lynn Mercer will officiate.
Interment will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Thursday to head in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Hensley, Randy Dunbar, Travis Hensley, Codey Dunbar, Brock Dunbar, and William Dunbar.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the ICU staff and doctors at Greeneville Community Hospital, Amedisys Hospice staff Ot and PT and Dr. Michael Stone.
