She was a retired schoolteacher at Greeneville Junior High School where she taught Physical Education.
She was a member Asbury United Methodist Church.
She is survived by nieces: Andrea (W.T.) Daniels, Gloria Susong, Cathy (David) Susong Hooper of Loganville, GA, Rhesa (Don) Dykes of Johnson City; a nephew, Joe Seaton; several cousins, great nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Davenport; her parents, Alexander Taylor Susong and Mary Melinda Guinn Susong; a sister, Billie Johnston; brothers, Frank Susong and Charles Susong.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 pm at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 1:45 pm. Rev. Gerald Rudd will officiate.
