Marjorie Davis Mitchell

She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jerry and Pat Mitchell, Timmy Mitchell and fiancé, Leona Malone, all of Greeneville; a grandson: Cody Mitchell of Bethune, South Carolina; a sister: Nola Cutshall of Greeneville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Frank and Ethel Mitchell, Ethel and Paul Ragen, Flo Mitchell, Dean Mitchell, all of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Madge Miller Davis and was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Ray Mitchell on February 27, 2014; a sister, Leona Cutshall; brothers-in-law: R. T. Cutshall, Gene Cutshall, Fred Smelcer, “Boots” Hutton, Mack Mitchell, and William Mitchell.

The family will receive friends 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Casey Nicholson and Rev. Frankie Isley officiating.

Interment will be at 10 am Friday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:15 am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Cutshall, Roger Cutshall, Luke Cutshall, Paul Mitchell, Glen Mitchell, and Roy Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Cutshall, Rev. Lynn Neas, Rev. Jimmy Peyton, Rev. Richard Snowden, her friends at Cedar Hill CP Church, and the staff of Durham Hensley Health and Rehabilitation.

The family wished to express a special thanks to the staff of Durham Hensley Health and Rehabilitation.
