Growing up in Greene County, Marvin hauled milk for Pet Milk Company. Later he married the love of his life, Margaret Seaton, on May 22, 1959. He was an avid dairy, beef, and tobacco farmer for most of his life. While farming, he instilled hard work ethics in both his children and grandchildren. Marvin also retired as a Rural Letter Carrier after 32 years. He made many lifelong friends on his mail route journey. Two of his favorite pastimes were fishing and going to livestock markets.
He is survived by two children, Myra (Tim) Waddle and Marty (Stephanie) Renner; grandchildren, Blake (Ashlan) Renner and Kallie Renner; sister and brother, Ann Bear and Joe (Kathy) Renner; sister-in-law, Carolyn DeMello; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Margaret; infant daughter, Amanda; parents, Ray, Sr., and Hilda Renner; a brother, Ray, Jr. (Janet) Renner; and an infant sister, Lillian Renner.
