She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Babb attended Bridges Chapel Church.
Survivors include two sons: Connie Babb, who was her caregiver, of the home and Jerry Babb of Afton; a daughter and son-in-law: Janice and Jerry Keith Fillers of Greeneville; Geraldine Babb of Kingsport; granddaughter: Cristina Babb; a special niece: Joyce Deboard and husband, Bill; niece: Tina Wehenkel; nephews: Jimmy Hayes and Terry Brown; several other nieces and nephews; and her special friends: Kathy Raisouich, Barbara Doty, and Ben Graham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Babb; a son, Donnie Babb; a daughter, Mitzie Peters; a sister, Gladys Allen; brother, Hilbert Hayes; and a daughter-in-law: Barbara Babb.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cross Anchor Cemetery with Rev. David Dugger, Rev. Jim Fillers, and Rev. Roger Dykes officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery Tuesday for the service.
