

She retired from dietary department at Takoma Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Gosnell attended House of the Lord Church.
Survivors include a daughter: Billie Collins of Greeneville; two granddaughters: Teresa Collins and Hugh Alan Davis and granddaughter, Alexis, and Tonia Collins and Ken Lawrence, and daughter, Kendra, all of Greeneville; great grandchildren: Jerritt Melton and Heather Long, and daughter, Maddi, Cody Trinkel, Sarah Nisbet, and Matthew Tester; sisters: Lucille Humbert of the home and Ruth Jeffers and Shelby Jones of Mosheim; brother and sister-in-law: Alan and Rosetta Humbert of Mosheim; sisters-in-law: Betty Humbert of Mosheim and Phyllis Hensley of Greeneville; special nieces: Eva "Buttons" Rogers and Kim Tompkins; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Jess and Grace Humbert and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, William Thomas Gosnell; brothers: Herman, Kermitt, John, Roy, and Lloyd Humbert; and brothers-in-law: Lee Jeffers, Vernon Jones, and Farley Gosnell.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Sunday, August 4, 2013 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lynn Mercer officiating.
Interment will follow at 2pm Monday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:15pm Monday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service.
Pallbearers will be Jerritt Melton, Cody Trinkle, Charlie Ricker, Hugh Alan Davis, Ray Griffin, and Terry Jeffers.
