Mary Maxine Hobbs

She was retired from the Greene County School System and attended Zion Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Jim and Wendy Hobbs of Mocksville, NC; Michael and Lisa Hobbs of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren: Tucker Hobbs and Emma Hobbs, Emily Hobbs and Riley Hobbs; one brother and sister-in-law: James and Ellen Frazier of Virginia; others brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, whom she thought of as a son: Jody Money and his wife, Jeanna and their daughter, Haley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Frank Hobbs; three brothers: Jeff, Kenny, and Lester Frazier; and a sister, Sue Jeffries.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 am at Zion Cemetery in Baileyton. The Rev. Wade McAmis will officiate. Family and friends will act as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 am on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
