Michael loved everything Harley Davidson. He was an avid fisherman and welder. He was employed at John Deere while his health permitted.
He is survived by one son, Eric Michael; his loving sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Lee Steele of Elizabethton; his bonus mom, Cathy Beach, who loved him as her own; aunts, Pam and Libby Kimery of Johnson City; two uncles, Steven Kimery of Rogersville and Roy Shelton; several special cousins and his faithful companion, Peanut.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lynn Shelton and his mother, Debra Kimery.
The family would like to thank Vanderbilt Neurology, Dr. Daniel Lewis and Amedisys Hospice.
A graveside service will be held at Cross Anchor Cemetery on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Steven Kimery will officiate.
