Millie Hensley

Millie was a member of Mt. Pisgah Church, where she taught in Sunday School. She also rung bells for the Salvation Army during Christmas.

She retired from Hurd Lock after working there for 12 years.

Millie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kim Hensley; grandson, Austin Hensley; granddaughter, Chelsie Hensley-Poore; niece, Linda (Duane) Ponder; and nephew, Charles (Donna) Hamlin. She is also survived by two special friends, Betty and Nola.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell W. Hensley; parents, Milton Walker and Grace Fillers; and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Owen Hamlin.

The family will receive friends 12-2pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will begin at 2pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel, officiated by Pastor Melinda Sturm.

Interment will follow at River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Eric Davis, EJ Davis, Tyler Marshall, and Dewayne Casteel.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
