

He was a retired sales person at Clothesline and Parks-Belk department stores.
Mr. Moore was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Bertha B. Moore; nieces and nephews: Nayland D. Clark and wife, Elaine, Ann M. Smith and husband, Fred, all of Greeneville; Tom E. Moore and wife, Patricia, of Florida; Marcia M. Medford and husband, John, of Elizabethton, Tenn.; Betty Fannon and husband, Henry of Chuckey; Brenda Jeffers of Greeneville; Jimmy Hice and wife, Marilyn, of Morristown; numerous great nieces and great nephews; sisters-in-law: Katherine R. Moore of Johnson City; Charlotte Kruger and husband, Ray, of Jonesborough.
He was the son of the late E. F. Moore, Sr. and Bessie Tullock Moore and was preceded in death by three brothers, Everette F. Moore, Jr., John Thomas Moore, and Gordon E. Moore; three sisters, Virginia M. Clark, Margaret M. Broyles, and Juanita M. Edmiston.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel.
Rev. Dr. James K. Pierce III and Pastor John Smucker will officiate. Interment will follow at Cross Anchor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim W. Hice, Jerry Bird, Chuck Jeffers, and Ray Kruger.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
