Nellie Mae Malone Carter

Survivors include her son: Tony Carter of Greeneville; two grandsons: Chris Carter of Greeneville and Rex Carter of Mishawaka, Indiana; two granddaughters: Monica Carter and Tonya Carter Norton of Greeneville; great granddaughter: Madison Lynn Norton; sister: Lucille Knight of Mosheim; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; very dear friends and neighbors: Debbie Kennedy and family, Tim and Tonya Peters and family; and a very special cousin and caregiver: Pauline Malone.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Henry A. Carter; son: Steve Carter; parents: Mattie and Walter Malone; brother: Haskell Kyle Malone; and two sisters: Bertha Malone Turner and Ruby Malone Casteel.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 29, 2016, at Cross Anchor Cemetery with her nephew, Rev. L.W. Carter, officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ken Nichols and the nursing staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville.
