

She retired from Magnavox.
Mrs. Babb was a member of Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Circle 3.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Lois and Jimmy Mottern; step-son and wife: David and Debbi Babb; two grandsons: Ryan and Camden Babb; brother and sister-in-law: Bill and Peggy Southerland; two sisters: Betty Woods and Helen Davis: sisters-in-law and husbands; Faye Southerland, Hilda Hawk, Patsy and Robert Smith, and Mary Ruth and Tommy Schmittou; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Horace and Eula Southerland; her first husband: Glenn Cobble; second husband: Joe Babb Jr.; brothers: Arville Southerland and wife, Shelby Jean, J.D. “Mutt” Southerland, and Wilford “Nook” Southerland; and friends.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jamie Lively and Rev. Abbie Cole Keller officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Laughlin Health Care Center and Caris Hospice and members of the Cumberland Presbyterian Heritage Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church Heritage Class or St. Joseph’s Chapel Cemetery, 790 Gravel Woods Road, Midway, TN 37809.
