

He was a retired employee of Plus Mark.
He was a dedicated member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church where he served as deacon and Sunday School teacher for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
He enjoyed doing family history and singing. He also loved being with his family and visiting his many friends in the community.
Survivors include his wife: Doris Guinn Painter; parents: Walter and Karen Painter of South Central; brother: Cleve Painter of South Central; mother-in-law: Frances Guinn of Hampton; sister-in-law: Lucy Bryant and husband Danny of Unicoi; two brothers-in-law: Harley Guinn and Samuel Guinn, both of Hampton; two nephews: Matthew Bryant and Joshua Bryant and wife Nikki, all of Unicoi; great niece: Danielle Bryant of Unicoi; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ferrin and Ruth Wyatt Painter and Paul and Sally Hensley Garland, and his father-in-law, Harley Guinn, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 4pm Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. John Buchanan and Rev. Stephen Saults officiating. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes preceding the service.
Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
His pallbearers will be Jason Bowers, Danny Bryant, Matthew Bryant, Joshua Bryant, Bobby Seaton, Neal Garland, Jason Shanks, and John Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class and the Deacon Board of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.
