

Mrs. Engle had attended Greeneville First Freewill Baptist Church.
She was the beloved wife to Quillen Engle for 32 years and a loving mother to four daughters.
Survivors include three daughters and their husbands: Pat and Lavern Taylor, Diane and Billy Holder of North Carolina, Judy and Jim Gunter; son-in-law: Randy Wells; grandchildren: Brian and Krystal Arwood, Stephanie and Jason Silvers, Amanda and Michael Robinson, Kelly and Tim Lewis, Ashley and Alex Hatcher, Rachelle Wells, Amber Howard, Brandi Gunter; several great grandchildren; two brothers: Bob Beam of Maryland and Jim Beam and wife, Jackie, of Pennsylvania; sister: Juanita Rice and husband, T.J., of Erwin; several nieces and nephews; and a sister in Christ: Nellie Nelson.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. William Beam and Essie Bennett Beam and was preceded in death by her husband, Quillen Engle; an infant son; a daughter, Rita Engle Wells; brothers: Walter, John, Gene, Henry and Howard Beam; and a sister, Betty.
The body is at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home where the family will receive friends form 6-8 pm Tuesday preceding the service at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. William Holder and Rev. Ted Reynolds will officiate.
Interment will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. It is requested that family and friends meet at 10:50 am Wednesday at the cemetery for the committal service.
Her pallbearers will be Jason Silvers, Brian Arwood, Michael Robinson, Bobby Cole, and Alex Hatcher.
