Pauline "Polly" Hale

Pauline “Polly” Hale age 91, of Midway, passed away Sunday evening, May 22, 2022 at her home.

She was a homemaker and farmer.

Polly is survived by brothers, Max (Patsy) Sauls and James (Debbie) Sauls; sister, Janice (JC) Clark; nieces, Debbie Audley, Tina Hawkins, Traci Ellenburg, Heather and Jamie Sauls; nephews, Mike and Jim Sauls and Chuck Clark; several great nieces and great nephews; special friends, Hazel and Vicky Robinson, Carolyn Finchum and Cheryl Bowman. Two special great nephews and a special great niece Cole and Kinsley Ellenburg and Elijah Hawkins. Her special caregivers, Pam and Joel Cornwell, Brooke Cox, Donna Gilbert, Patsy Sauls and Traci Ellenburg.

She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Flora Cearmikel Sauls and preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Loyse “Shorty” Hale, brothers Russell, Billy and Jay Sauls.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Mike Sauls officiating.

Interment will follow at Sinking Springs Lutheran Church.

Pallbearers are Todd Ellenburg, Cole Ellenburg, Charley Hawkins, Elijah Hawkins, Chuck Clark and Joel Cornwell.

Honorary pallbearers are Larry Audley and Richard Dobbelaere.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Health and Caris Hospice staff.
