Pauline T. McCoy Solomon

She retired from the George C. Moore Company.

Mrs. Solomon was a lifelong member of Cedar Creek Church of God and taught Sunday School as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Freddie and Kathleen Solomon; two daughters and a son-in-law: Neddia Bolton, Matilda and Gene Myers, all of Greeneville; four grandchildren: Michael Solomon and Rick Sane, both of Greeneville, Cynthia Sane Neas and husband, David Bailey, of Loudon,Tennessee, and a special friend, Tim Neas of Sweetwater, and Jeffrey Myers of Cary, North Carolina; three great grandchildren: Kately and Garrett Solomon of Colombia, Tennessee, Bradley Myers and wife, Tina, of Greeneville; half-brothers: Glen McCoy and Charles McCoy; and half-sisters: Reba Smith Gleen and Barbara Roe.

She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Grace McCoy and was preceded in death by her husband, Werley Solomon; a grandson, Randy (Austin) Myers; brother, Roy McCoy; sisters: Hazel Roberts, Maybelle Kinnick, Agnes Harmon, Arma Nell Southerland, Mary Elizabeth Rhodes; half-sister, Gay Mitchell; and half-brothers: Walter McCoy, Junior McCoy and Kenney McCoy.

The family wished to express a special thanks to Rev. Brice Casey and his late wife, Nancy, for visiting her when she could no longer attend church; the Bible Study Group and the women of the church that gave her a birthday party every year; her faithful neighbors, Jeff and Denna Harold for all they did for her; a very special friend and “second daughter”, Carolyn Bowers and

husband, Gene; the staff of Signature Health Care Center, Dr. Richard Aasheim and Steve Hale M.D.; all the nurses who gave Mama love and great care; Dr. William Diebold, Dr. Diana Kooper, David Snyder MRE, Chaplain, and staff of Takoma Senior Care.

The family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

At her request, the body will be cremated. A private committal service will be held at a later date.
