She was a retired beautician and attended Mt. Pisgah Church.

She is survived by one son: David Bradley Hopson (Herbertta) a granddaughter: Lindsay Shaw (Brandon); great grandchildren: Ellie and Landon Shaw; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Lou and Owen Freeman, Linda Hopson, Guy and Sandy Hopson and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Roy and Lena Marshall and was preceded in death by her husband: Jule David Hopson; brother: Charles E. Marshall; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carolyn and Dickey Cassidy, Billie June Perry and Bob Hopson.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 pm Monday at Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Rev. Melinda Sturm officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Codey Freeman, Steven Freeman, Chris Hopson, Brian Hopson, Tyler Hopson and Kevin Cole.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
