

He retired from Jarden Zinc Products after 47 years. Phillip was a marine serving in the Vietnam War, a proud supporter of NRA, an avid golfer and a contributor to many charities.
He is survived by his loving wife: Pamela Higgins Brantley, a son: Jason K. (Melissa) Brantley, grandsons: Corey Kimery, Jacob (Harmoni) Justice, and Caleb (Sarah) Justice; great grandchildren: Paisleigh and Lincoln Justice all of Mosheim; his mother: Kathleen Brantley; sisters: Kathy (Rodney) Walker, Lisa (Rex) Darnell, Teresa (Jeff) Hume all of Greeneville; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Marsha (Bob) Purgason, Peggy (Charlie) Brown, Mike (Shelah) Higgins and Mark Higgins; several nieces and nephews, many friends and former co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his father: Rev. T. U. Brantley; a brother: Donnie Brantley; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: H. M. “Doc” and Vona Higgins.
The family invites all friends and family to attend Phillip’s graveside service Thursday, March 10 at 4:00 pm at Carter's Station Cemetery at Albany. The service will be officiated by Rev. David Gibbs.
There will be no formal visitation.
