Phillip "Eddie" Edward Fillers

Eddie was a devoted son, husband, father and friend. He worked over 20 years at Fillers Heating and Air and retired from the Greeneville City Schools after nine years of service. He was an elder of Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.

To know Eddie was to love him. He could bring a smile to any day. Even through his health struggles, he was cracking jokes.

He is survived by his father: Phil C. Fillers; his wife of 33 years, Martha Fillers; and his children: Zachary and Rhianna Fillers; others aunts, uncles and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Fillers; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Martha and Gary O’Dell.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00-7:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Pastors Harrell and Marci Cobb will officiate.

Interment will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Greenelawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 am to go in procession to the cemetery. A celebration meal will follow at Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.

Pallbearers will be Sam Clawson, Craig Fillers, John Fillers, Carly Fillers, Joe Archer and Zachary Fillers.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Davita Dialysis Center of Johnson City for taking good care of Eddie and treating him like family.
