Dee and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Phil's passing, We know he is riding the streets of Glory on that Harley..  We always looked forward to the  fun times  we had with our  work families of Allergan.  Our deepest condolences. Our prayers and thoughts are for comfort during this dark time. 

I will miss Phil. We only met last fall for the first time at AHH, but he made quite a sincere impression!  Phil was a dear at Appalachian Helping Hands and always willing to help. My deepest condolences to his family. Sending prayers for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Phil.  I worked with him several years ago at Landair.  He was a great person.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  

Phil will be missed.  He always had a good word of wisdom and smile for all around him.  Prayers go out to Dee and her wonderful family.   We go way back in our years of friendship from 1st grade at St James to graduation from South Greene H S as well as going to the same church.  

Haven’t seen him since high school.!  That smile was still the same.  Always a funny, happy,  sweet guy.

So sorry to hear about Phil.  He will truly be missed.

Phil and I have been friends since we started 1st grade at St James with the windows open and no air conditioning.  Eight years there of fun playing in a big gym with a floor so unlevel we were running up and downhill. They even had donkey ball games there. I remember being on stage with Phil and several classmates singing “The Ballad of Davy Crockett” in our coon skin hats. I still have my hat hanging on the wall. Then we had four years at SGHS. Our Senior year, Phil was voted MOST REPRESENTATIVE. I’ll have to say Phil you represented us well by volunteering in the community at Appalachian Helping Hands and St James VFD. As a friend and brother firefighter from assisting Caney Branch, you will be missed.  But our loss is heavens gain. If God has anything extra to do up there, you are probably volunteering.  
To Dee and family, our sincerest prayers are with you. Sorry Karen and I will not be with you for the service as we both have the virus, but our heavy hearts will be there. God hold you all in his hand.


Dear Dee and Family, I know your hearts are breaking, and I share your sadness. I will always remember his sweet smile and kindness. I told him recently that his church sermons were wonderful—so meaningful and heartfelt. He never even used notes, just spoke from his heart. Everyone loved Phil, and I’m sure he knew how much his family and friends cared. May God bring you comfort.

Because Phil was always part of the St. James family, it is so very sad to lose him.  We were together in church and school as far back as I can remember.  Throughout the years, as we returned to community events, he was always there- usually working for the cause.  He seemed to continue his family tradition of being there for anyone in need, just like his Mom and Dad.  We know he will be so missed by his family, friends, and community.  We send our love, prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to Dee and the family, including all the siblings, cousins.  We know he will be missed in the volunteer fire dept.  But as much as we will miss him, we know God has him and his soul is free to enter his heavenly home.  RIP Phil.  ❤️

So sorry for you loss, Phil was a good man, my memories of him could go on and on, he was my boss at Vistawall, there could have never been a nicer person to me, he helped and changed many things for myself and others the first few year's we worked together, I could always talk to him, he would listen,he was always there not as the man to tell you what to do, but your friend and help, Phil was be missed so much, to you the family I feel blessed to have had the chance to meet him and become friend's, PRAYERS FOR ALL

Phil was a great friend. He loved his family, home and farm and was always helping others any way he could. I have so many special memories of him as we worked together in the "Allergan" family all those years. He will be missed, but I know he is reaping the rewards of our Heavenly Father. I don’t know anyone who didn’t like Phillip. He always had a big smile and would talk with anyone so he was loved by many. I will miss him at Salem Lutheran Church and especially at Appalachian Helping Hands where he volunteered. I will also miss him riding his tractor and his big wave as he went by my house to feed and see to his cattle. He touched many lives in a positive way and will truly be missed!
