Ralph William McNabb

He was a truck driver for over 40 years.

He was a member of Brown Springs Baptist Church and its mother church, Big Springs Baptist Church, both in Mosheim. He had been a member for over 60 years and attended as long as his health permitted. He served as a trustee and an usher and was a member of the Pastor’s 7:30am Sunday School Class.

He loved to work in the garden. He was a loving father to all who knew him.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law: James and Sandra McNabb and Roger and Patti Foshie; sister and brother-in-law: Nancy and Jerry Fortner; son: Billy McNabb; several stepchildren: Cindy Cobble, Stevie Brotherton, Timmy Johnson, Scott and Sheila Ricker; several grandchildren: Jenny Johnson (whom he loved as his daughter), Travis McNabb, Rusty and Amanda Johnson, Tyler Ricker, Tyler Crum, and Zachary Ricker; two great grandchildren: Brooklyn Johnson and Alayan Ricker; and several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. and Emma Foshie and J.C. McNabb, and a step daughter, Cindy Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm Monday at Brown Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Long officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tom Culler, Daniel Lamons, Curtis Holland, Dane Holland, Daniel Mullins, and Tony Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Cutshaw, Billy Owens, Vernon Holland, Daryl Shelton, Wayne Hartman, Doyle Jones, Jim Woods, Michael New, and Bill Smelcer.
