Raven Tommy Seaton

April 10, 1934 – April 16, 2019

Raven Tommy Seaton, age 85, of Greeneville, passed away Tuesday, April 16, at his home.

Mr. Seaton retired from Magnavox. He loved farming and was well known for growing tomatoes.

He was a member of Greystone Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Joann and Dale Parman, Linda Hopson and Margaret and Joe Kalke; a son and daughter-in-law: Lloyd “Buzz" and Carolyn Seaton; grandchildren: Brett and Stephanie Parman, April Renner, Jonathan Moncier, Christopher and Priscilla Seaton of Knoxville, Dr. Cole and Lyndsey Seaton of Knoxville; great grandchildren: Jacob Brooks and wife, Kacie, Hunter Parman, Emma Renner and Kaitlyn Parman; three brothers: Junior and Sue Seaton, Billy Ray and Carolyn Seaton, and Jackie and Cindy Seaton; sisters: Bernice Ward, Reba Madge Miller, Susie Crum, Joan and Richard Collins; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Seaton, parents: Issac and Minnie Seaton, brothers: Robert and Dwight Seaton, two infant sisters, and two sons-in-law, Bobby Hopson and David Moncier.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Greystone Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Stocton officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 10:00 am Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
