

He retired from Hurd Lock after 27 years of service.
He attended Sunnyside Baptist as long as his health permitted.
Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1951 until 1953, a veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Lucy Taylor; brother and sister-in-law: Ralph and Lena Taylor of Greeneville; brother-in-law and his wife: Willie and Lynda Setser of Greeneville; sister-in-law: Jackie Banner of Greeneville; and his special friends: Gordon and Betty Aldridge and Tim King.
He was the son of the late Sidney Frances Taylor and Maudie Cornwell Taylor and was preceded in death by four sisters, seven brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6pm-8pm Monday and Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 8 pm Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Dugger officiating.
Interment will 11 am Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Timmy King, Billy Banner, Ronnie Taylor, Billy Barham, Tony Williams, and Clyde Crum.
