

Raymond Keith Love, age 90, of the Debusk Community of Greeneville, passed away after a long battle with a multitude of health issues, Monday, May 2, 2022 at Johnson City Medical surrounded by family. He was a member of Overlook Freewill Baptist Church for as long as his health permitted. He was also a Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War where he received the Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, and Presidential Unit Citational with 3 Battle Stars. He was retired from Aerojet where he was a machinist, American Greetings, and Murray Guard Services. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had a deep love of working in his yard, music, photography, and also made the church bulletin for 12 years. He made the Inchon Landing in Korea and also was a Chosin Reservoir Survivor.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Love; children, David Love, Deon (Denise Silvers) Carter, Tammy (Jim) Dykes, Lisa (Mark) Love Bruner; grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Carter, Ken Dykes, Zackery Henderson, Daniel Bruner, Calie and Hannah Bruner of Knoxville; and host of loving and caring neighbors and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 12pm Thursday, May 5, 2022 with Rev. Dewayne Steel and Rev. Gary Gass officiating. Interment to follow at Mtn. Home Cemetery at 2pm.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Mtn. Home VA Healthcare System and the doctors and nurses of the 2600 wing at Johnson City Medical Center.
