

Reba Miller Martin of Greeneville, TN went home to be with her Lord on November 4, 2015. She was born in Greene County on April 14, 1919, to Arthur Fain Miller and Melvina Gray Miller. She was a prominent farmer, real estate developer, landowner, and attended Trinity United Methodist Church as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Raymond A. (Ray) Smith of Greeneville; granddaughters and their husbands, Ashleigh and Preston Powers of Knoxville and Staci and Russell Blackwell of Charlotte, NC; three great-grandchildren: Gregory Miller Powers, Hayden Blackwell, and Jocelyn Blackwell; sisters, Inez Miller Moncier and Wanda Miller Roberts; numerous step grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friends and caregivers Kathy McCrary, Sue Kenney, and Jacklyn Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Martin; her sisters, Edith Miller Wilhoit and Naomi Miller Shepherd; and her infant daughter, Peggy Janelle Jones.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, followed by the funeral service at the church at 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Stuart Albee will officiate. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Union Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:00 am Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Preston Powers, Russell Blackwell, Russ Crum, Michael Moncier, Archie Moncier, and Keith Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Eugene and Faye Shepherd, Kent and Bettye Ann Bewley, Bobby and Meriedith Broyles, and JoAnn Painter.
