

The eldest daughter of Ralph F. Hobbs and Dortha M. Hobbs, she graduated from Greeneville High School in 1969, and lived a full life raising two sons and eventually retiring from the field of nursing.
She was a gentle, stylish woman, but more importantly a devoted disciple of Christ who walked with unmatched grace and dignity wherever she went.
She was a true example of the Love of God to whomever she met and was always willing to give a kind word of encouragement, or meet the needs of another if she was able.
All who knew her could not help but see the Light of Christ within her.
Preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Dortha Hobbs, and a son lost at birth, Brian Lee Cumbie.
She is survived by her loving sons, Tad and his wife Hollie Broyles and Will Cumbie; grandson, Jackson Broyles; granddaughters, Kaylah and Alyssa Shelton; one sister, Elaine Hobbs Hux and her husband, Steve, two brothers, Freddy Wayne Hobbs and his wife, Phyllis, Lee Hobbs and his wife, Ellen, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11am-2pm on Thursday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel and will proceed to GreeneLawn Memory Gardens for interment.
