
He was a retired truck driver and attended Shelton Mission Church.
He is survived by a loving wife: Barbara A. Riddle; two sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas R. and Rose Riddle of Garfield Heights, Ohio, and James and Nancy Riddle of Cleveland, Ohio; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Rebecca Spurlock of Garfield Heights, Ohio, Susan and Wayne Lowe of Garfield Heights, Ohio, and Michele and Joseph Messina of Sagamore Hills, Ohio; three stepchildren: Kathy L. and Devin Hogan of Avon, Ohio, Robert W. Stanley and Timothy M. Stanley, both of Pittsboro, North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Hubert and Betty Riddle, William (Jake) and Mary Lee Riddle and James Orville and Phyliss Riddle, all of Greene County; one sister and brother-in-law: Alberta and Neil McGill of Greeneville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Champ and Clarinda Morgan Riddle and was preceded in death by his first beloved wife: Bonnie Lou Smith Riddle; an infant grandson of James Riddle; three brothers: Junior Morgan, Furman Riddle, and Champ Harrison Riddle; and one sister: Regina McClain.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Following the visitation, the body will be taken to Fortuna Funeral Home, 7076 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio where the family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel.
Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
