She was a beautician and attended Asbury United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son: Ricky Kyle Sturm of the home; father and mother: Robert and Clara DeVotie of Limestone; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Karen and Benny James of Bristol, Tennessee and Patti DeVotie of Bristol, Virginia; special friends: John I’Dell and Eddie Copp of the home; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Cecil and Dodie Fann, Horace and Ella DeVotie; uncles: Sam Fann, Joe Fann, Billy DeVotie; aunt: Jane Moore; and a special pet companion: Trevor.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Craig Ponder will officiate.

Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Philadelphia Cemetery with Steven Spell officiating. It is requested that family and friends meet at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday at the cemetery for the committal service.

Her pallbearers will be Robert Shelton, John I’Dell, Eddie Copp, Benny James, Jeff Wallen, and Frankie DeVotie
