He was retired.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Betty Sue “Susie” Johnson; son: Chad Johnson; daughter: Amanda (Chris) Wise: grandchildren: Ashley Ware-Fehlau, Jacob Johnson, Aaron Robertson, Kaidan Robertson, Brittany (Jonathan) Short, and Charles Wise; great grandchildren: Nova Sage Short and several others; several nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Thelma Johnson; one sister: Charlene Hogue; and one brother: Jerry Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Harrell and Rev. Marci Cobb officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
