

Ronald was a member of First Church of God where he served as an Elder, and he worked with the Wood Ministry and Food Bank.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and the Army Reserves for twelve years after as a First Sergeant.
He retired from Magnavox.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruby DeMay; four children, Michael DeMay, Cindy (Steve) Johnson, Lynette (Billy) Britton, and Steven (Jennifer) DeMay; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Eugene (Rena) DeMay.
He is preceded in death by his parents Orrie and Esther DeMay; one sister, Rosalie Price; and brothers-in-law, Frank Price and Robert Haynes.
Ronald was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
A graveside service will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Shiloh Cemetery, officiated by Senior Pastor Nathan Leasure. Military honors will be conducted by the National Guard Honors Team and Greene County Honor Guard. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
