He was a retired business owner and attended Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.
He was also a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Ronald loved animals, especially dogs and cats. He sang in the choir at church and was very active in the church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Edie Nimick; a son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Marci Nimick; a sister, Eileen Culp; a nephew, Bill Culp; and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bertha Nimick.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Pastor Harrell Cobb and Pastor Marci Cobb will officiate.
Pallbearers are family and friends.
