He was an electrician with C&C Millwright where he had been employed for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife: Lorene Turner; one son: Jesse Turner of the home; a daughter: Cassie Turner, also of the home; a very special grandson whom he loved dearly: Christian Turner; his father: Troy Turner of Cosby; three brothers and a sister-in-law: Steve Turner of Newport, Ricky and Barbara Turner of Cosby, and Terry Turner of Greeneville; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Sherry and Rick Murray of Newport, Anita Faye and Roy Jones of Durham, NC; mother-in-law: Louzella Atkins of Newport; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 , at Kiser Rose Hill Chapel. Pastor Rick Becker
will officiate.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. Following the funeral service, at Mr. Turner’s request, the body will be cremated.
