

She was a member of East Greene Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cogdell is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Charlotte and Wayne Hill of Chuckey, Ann and Roger Fillers of Greeneville; two sons and daughters-in-law: Sam and Susie Cogdell of Chuckey, Tom and Mitzi Cogdell of Cleveland; grandchildren and spouses: Sherry and Robert Story, Linda and Gary Rector, Celisa and Mike Bowers, Renee and Bobby Roberts of Pflugerville, Texas, Angie Hill, Tanji and Todd Kidd of Knoxville, Crystal Hirschy, Matthew Cogdell of Cleveland, Jesse Cogdell of Cleveland; 17 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandson; 10 great great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Mary Moore, Nellie and Leslie Jobe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ralph and Betty Cogdell, Clarence Cogdell, J.D. and Rosie Cogdell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy James Cogdell, Sr.; one son, Coy James (Jim) Cogdell, Jr.; her parents, Bruce and Olive Williams; and one brother, Jay Williams.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 6:00 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Anthony Payne will officiate.
Interment will follow at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Oak Grove Cemetery (Tusculum). It is requested that family and friends meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the committal service.
Her pallbearers are Clifford Bowers, Ethan Bowers, Dustin Rector, Matthew Cogdell, Jesse Cogdell, and Johnny Jobe.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove FWB Cemetery or to East Greene FWB Church.
