Ruby Brown Jackson, 88, formerly of the Jearoldstown Community, who has resided for the past fifteen years in the Glendale community at the home of her daughter, Susan Jackson, where she passed away late Saturday evening (July 19, 2014).
She was a retired LPN.
She attended Bethany Free Will Baptist Church and Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
First and foremost, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Jackson was known to many as “Ms. Ruby”.
Survivors include a daughter: Susan Jackson; sons: Richard L. Jackson and wife, Carol, of Chuckey, Bradley Jackson and wife, Debbie, of Seymour, Tenn.; great grandson: Luc Jackson; great great grandchildren: Ayeden and Lexus Jackson, all of Chuckey; special longtime friends and travel companions: Willis and Becky Scott; and her special friends: Kenneth and Brenda Malone and Carolyn Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Jackson.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Earl Bailey and Rev. Mark Morgan officiating.:
Interment will be at 11 am Wednesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Wednesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Malone, Willis Scott, David Ryans, Lester Brown, Brian Huff, and Randall Dickerson.
