

Mrs. Hensley was a member of the Middle Laurel Church of God.
She liked to cook and make quilts for family and friends.
Mrs. Hensley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a friend and caregiver to many.
Survivors include children and spouses: Ralph and Margie Eggermann of Greeneville, Edward and Sandra Hensley of Ephrata, Pennsylvania, and Susan and John Breth of New York; daughter-in-law: Joan Hensley of Curwensville, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Walter and Sissy Hensley of Decatur; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends.
She was a devoted wife to the late Charles “Pete” Hensley. She was born March 2, 1931 in Wuppertal, Germany to the late Wilhelm and Alvine Eggermann and was preceded in death by two sons: Hakim Hensley and John W. Hensley; and a granddaughter: Crystal Bloom.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dean Hensley and Rev. Frankie Isley officiating.
Interment will be at 11am Thursday at GreenLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Eggermann, Jerry Johnson, Dedrick Franklin, Eddie Franklin, Greg Wilson, and Kevin Reigel.
