

She was a caregiver and a homemaker.
Mrs. Knipp was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Larry and Betty Knipp and Randall and Janie Knipp; granddaughter: Katie Knipp; grandson: Brandon Knipp; sister: Faye Gunter; sisters-in-law: Murriel Thompson, Lillian Southerland, Nancy Shipley of Indiana, and Mary Shipley; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierce Knipp; her parents: Taylor and Stella Shipley; six brothers: Charles, John, Hugh “Sonny”, Clarence “Jimmy”, Doyle “Bud”, and Cecil Shipley; and three sisters: Trixie Rollins, Dorothy Wills, and Selma Morelock.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Holt and Rev. Martha Beamer officiating.
Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Knipp, Mike Sams, Myrl Morelock, Jeff Gunter, Kenneth Southerland, and Dale Southerland.
Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville, Maynard and Jerry Mysinger, and her friends and neighbors.
