Shirley Duncan Ragsdale
September 26, 1937 – January 22, 2022

Shirley Duncan Ragsdale age 84 of Greeneville passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Laughlin Health Care after several months of declining health.
Shirley attended Hardin’s Chapel U. M. Church as long as her health permitted. She loved angels and enjoyed Bible study, ceramics and flower arranging.
Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband; Charles T. Jones and second husband Charles E. “Jack” Ragsdale. Her son Jeffrey Jones, daughter-in-law, Louise Jones, parents, Parris and Pearl Duncan.
Shirley is survived by a stepson Warren Ragsdale and wife Cynthia; step grandsons, Braydon and Brannon Ragsdale; special friends, Debbie Cogburn and family, Sarah Inscore, Ralph Taylor, David and Carol Rice, Mary Lynn Nicholson; her loving pet, Sadie as well as her church family and Hardin’s Ruritan Club
At Shirley’s request, there will be no formal visitation.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11 am at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Malone officiating and Debbie Cogburn will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will follow in Hardin’s Chapel U. M. Church cemetery.
Pallbearers are family and friends.
A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and to nurse Tammy at Laughlin Health Care for their outstanding care.
Due to COVID-19 family request mask be worn.
