

He was a truck driver.
He was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors. His number one hobby in the past years has been his grandchildren. He was a sports papaw to many children. He loved watching the Nolachuckey Blazers, the South Greene Rebels, and the Lady Trotters.
He was married for 36 years. His wife says, “He was the one person I told everything. He was the love of my life and my best friend.”
He was a demanding father that was so proud of his children and their many accomplishments.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years: Jeanine Franklin; son: Heith Franklin and fiancé, Hannah Marvin; two daughters: Brooks Franklin and fiancé Benjamin Merriweather and Tameka Franklin; grandchildren and the lights of his life: Macey Anderson, T.K. Franklin, Jayden Merriweather, Bishop Merriweather, and Asa Franklin; nephew: Rusty Franklin; great nephew: Alex Franklin; several cousins; special friends: Doug Boshears, Tracy Cotner, Kevin Brabson, David Wykle, and many fishing and hunting buddies; and his best friends: Marty Southerland and Bill Ottinger.
He was the son of the late Wayne and Erma Brown Franklin and was preceded in death by two brothers, Dusty Franklin and Ronnie Franklin.
The family will receive friends from 4pm-8pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will held at 8pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Casteel officiating.
Interment will be at 2pm Saturday at Fairview Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1pm Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brice Cutshaw, Nathan Franklin, Bill Ottinger, Marty Southerland, Rodney Wilburn, Marshall Cutshall, and Rusty Franklin.
Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Brooks, Jason Brooks, Mark Brooks, Ben Merriweather, Richard Merriweather, Mike Lamb, Mark Cutshaw, Mickey Reaves, and Jeff Kyle.
