

Walter served his country during the Korean War as a machinist in the Army.
He was the owner of Lamka Tool & Die in Oakfield, NY for 50 years, and he was a 70-year member of the American Legion, where he served as a Post and County Commander.
In retirement, he found and fell in love with his home in Greeneville, TN where he attended Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Walter is survived by his children, Kate (Mark) Bridge, Susan (Chuck) Bobo, and Patrick (Barb) Lamka; grandchildren, Melissa Rochette, Brianna Herring, Benjamin Paine, Robert Paine, Matthew Bridge, Sydney Walentynowicz, and Sarah Lamka; and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marian Lamka.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11am, officiated by Deacon Will Johnson.
Interment will be held at 2pm at Mountain Home Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
